“Looked great. The only issue was that my only option was ordering 100 or 250, so we had way too many.”

“Booklets were AMAZING quality! We needed to fulfill a rush order of 500 prints in an insanely short amount of time since another order we had placed ran into countless issues. Their customer support is unmatched, incredibly helpful, supportive and very friendly! They called with updates and let us know when anything came up. Highly recommend them for anyone in need of printing, rushed or not!”

Create Detailed Booklets That Will Make Anyone Sit Down and Read

Booklets give you ample space to showcase your new products and services and write about them and your business in detail. Customers can leaf through each page leisurely to read and appreciate your unique offerings. Check out how you can customize each booklet detail to represent your brand sufficiently with NextDayFlyer’s custom booklet printing options:

  1. Print booklets in full color with your choice of top-quality paper and cardstock. Lightweight but sturdy 10 pt. cardstock and 100 lb. paper are great for covers, while you can choose from 70 lb., 80 lb., 100 lb., or 10 pt. cardstock for the inside pages.

  2. Design your event program or manual in eight pages or create a comprehensive product catalog of 72 pages. Note that all page counts include the four cover pages, and the rest are the inside sections.

  3. Our custom booklets are available in five standard sizes: 6" x 6", 5.5” x 8.5”, 8.5” x 5.5”, 8.5” x 11”, and 12" x 12". Booklets in 5.5" x 8.5" are great for handouts because they are cost-effective and easy to carry around. They are ideal giveaways at trade show presentations and community events.

  4. If you have specific dimensions in mind, select Custom Size in the product calculator. This lets you tailor the size of your booklets based on these ranges:
    • Width: Between 4.5” and 12”
    • Height: Between 5.5” and 12”

  5. For added visual impact and durability, add gloss, matte, or high gloss UV coating to your booklets as a finishing touch. Matte offers an elegant detail, while the gloss and high gloss UV give booklets extra shine.

How to Create Multipage Booklets

Designing your own booklets might seem like a daunting task, but it’s easier than it looks. If you have a preferred editing program, download a file from the Templates tab that you’ll find on this page. Use them as guide to determine the trim, bleed, and border in your booklet design.

If you’re printing a custom size, send us an email at customercare@nextdayflyers.com so we can send you the right template file.

If you have a press-ready file, select “Upload Your File” below the online calculator and send the file directly to the site. Be sure to upload it by 6pm of the order day after you’ve chosen Next Business Day as the printing time to guarantee your booklets will be printed the following day.

For any questions about your booklet printing, you may call us at 855-898-9870 anytime from Monday to Friday, and between 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT on weekends.

Custom Booklets Printing Frequently Asked Questions

What are the binding options available for booklets?
We use saddle stitching which is a common binding method in booklet printing. Saddle stitching is where single sheets of paper are printed on both sides, folded in half, and stapled in the middle along the spine.

What are the minimum and maximum number of pages for booklet printing?
With booklet printing, each spread is equal to four (4) pages so the page increments go up in fours as well. The minimum quantity for a saddle-stitched booklet is eight (8) pages.

As for the maximum page count, this depends on the thickness of the paper stock you’ll use. For paper saddle-stitched booklets, NextDayFlyers allows a maximum of 56 inside pages. If the entire booklet will be printed using 10 pt. cardstock, 12 would be the maximum number of pages you can bind.

What’s the minimum number of booklets I can order? How about the maximum number?
You can order a minimum of 100 booklets. You can also go up to 100,000 pieces if you need more copies. If you have a number in mind that’s not indicated in our dropdown options, we will be happy to provide a free quote on a custom quantity. To get started on your free quote for custom booklet printing, please call 855-898-9870 and request for our Custom Team.

Can I get one booklet printed before I order a bigger quantity?
No, you need to order at least 100 booklets to proceed with the order. If you want to check the printing quality before committing to a larger order, you can order a hard copy proof by calling 855-898-9870 or emailing us at customercare@nextdayflyers.com. You can also speak with our customer service representatives via live chat.

Will ordering larger quantities of booklets save me more money?
Yes. If you are working with a specific budget, you can control the amount spent per booklet with a bulk order. The bigger your order quantity, the lower you spend per booklet.

Do I need to supply fonts?
If your print-ready file is in PDF format, there is no need to send us font files. If you’ll be sending your print-ready file in another format, we may need to request a copy of the fonts you used.

Can I review my booklet design before printing?
Yes, you can request an online PDF proof after uploading your press-ready file. Under “Select Proofing Option” on the File Upload page, choose “I need a PDF proof.” The file will be emailed as soon as possible for you to review. Note that we will only proceed with printing after you’ve approved the file online.

Who goes through my booklet design before it goes into production?
Our prepress department reviews your order using 15 checkpoints, and they do everything they can to guarantee an accurate and professional print. They'll check everything from the resolution, size, bleed, order specs, and more before your file reaches the production process. Check out this page for more information on our printing process.

How soon can I receive my custom booklets?
Next Business Day service is available for custom booklet printing. Place your order and upload your press ready files by 6:00 p.m. PT, from Monday through Friday and your order will be shipped or be ready for pick up between 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. PT on the next business day.

We make it easy for you when you print booklets through us. We offer free templates to help you set up your booklet's pages under the Template tab of the booklet printing page. These templates are appropriately sized to include 1/8" bleed on all sides and feature the safe zone, the bleed zone, and the trim line, and can be imported into design software on its own layer to serve as a guide for your booklet's layout. Line up your crossover elements on the bound edge to the trim line to accommodate for gutter space and we will do the rest.

An easy way to understand your booklet's page count is to consider the front and back covers - The front outside cover, the front inside cover, the back inside cover, and the back outside cover are four individual pages. A 12 page booklet would have four pages that take up the front and back covers and eight pages (four double sided pages) on the inside. Likewise, a 24 page booklet would have four pages that take up the front and back covers and ten pages (five double sided pages) on the inside. Be sure that your file's page count matches the page count of your custom booklet. If you are short a few pages, consider adding blank pages to your file. The front inside cover and back inside cover are popular places for adding blank pages for booklet printing.
