Metallic Stickers: Draw Attention to Your Designs
Metallic stickers bring you one step closer to creating a memorable brand for your business. If you want a surefire way to get noticed, metallic sticker printing is a step in the right direction. With metallic sticker printing, you can add a lustrous shine that makes any design pop and sets you apart from the competition.
Metallic ink works by applying a layer of silver ink below all the other colors. This process gives your stickers a metallic vibe that draws attention. Also, metallic sticker printing lets you use any color without compromising the quality – it even works on gradients.
Metallic stickers will adhere to most surfaces, giving you many opportunities to promote your products and services. Our 70 lb. sticker paper can solve your branding issues with its wide range of applications. They can be used to brand jars, cans, soap, and other types of containers. Your metallic stickers can also double as shipping and packaging stickers.
We use high-gloss UV coated adhesive, which allows less absorption, so the ink stays on top of the paper and results in maximum shine. High-gloss UV coating also gives your stickers extra protection against moisture, dust, and fingerprints. Not only that, it helps boost colors so that the metallic ink becomes more prominent.
Print metallic stickers for your brand today. Your custom metallic ink stickers can be printed square or rectangle. Choose from popular size options, beginning with 2” x 2” and up to 6” x 9”.

How to Prepare Your Metallic Sticker Design File
Here are some quick tips to keep in mind as you design metallic stickers:
- Font size should be above 12 points.
- Use Sans Serif fonts for readability.
- The metallic shine is most evident in lighter colors. It will be less obvious in darker colors.
- The mask and CMYK design file should match one another. Make sure each layer’s respective elements align with the other version of the design.
To prepare your file for metallic printing, take note of the following reminders:
You need to submit a file with two layers. For metallic printing orders: the standard CMYK layer and the silver foil mask layer.
The mask layer should show where the metallic printing will be applied. Mark the metallic area with 100% K or black and then render the non-metallic parts in white.
For example, the images below show that the logo in black will be metallic, while the white background is the non-metallic section.
Metallic Stickers FAQs
What does printing turnaround time mean?
Turnaround time refers to the number of business days it takes to print your metallic ink stickers. It does not cover weekends, holidays, and shipping transit. You can check the order calculator to see what turnaround options are available for your product and also get an estimated delivery date using your ZIP code.
Are your metallic stickers waterproof?
No. They are not waterproof, but the high-gloss UV coating offers some protection against moisture.
Are the stickers individually cut or are they on a roll?
Metallic ink stickers are individually cut, which means they will be delivered pre-cut and stacked.
How do I download free print templates?
You can download these templates in different sizes and formats from the Templates tab. Just select your preferred format and open using your preferred editing application. Each template indicates issues you should look out for and makes it easier to set up your design.
What is foil printing and how is it different from metallic printing?
Metallic prints use actual ink, which is why you can design a full spectrum of colors if you select this option. We also offer metallic printing for postcards, business cards, flyers, and more.
Foil stamping, as the name suggests, entails “stamping” the foil onto the paper after printing using heat and pressure. With foil stamping, you can only choose from a few color options such as gold, silver, and copper. If you’re interested in our foil printing, check out business cards, bookmarks, and hang tags.
